How buying and selling on RYSAG actually works. If your question is not here, contact us.
RYSAG is strictly business-to-business. You need a registered agri-input business and, for pesticides, fertilizers or seeds, the licence that category requires — a PL, FL or SL respectively. It is not a shop for farmers or for personal use.
Sign in with your mobile number, then register your shop with its legal name, address and GSTIN, and upload your licence and GST certificate. RYSAG reviews the application, verifying the licence against the issuing authority. Verification usually completes within one working day, and you are told either way.
No. Dealers pay only for the goods they order, at the price shown at checkout. RYSAG earns a commission from the seller, not from you.
Dealer prices appear once your shop is verified. Before that you can browse the full catalogue and see products, pack sizes and MRP, but not the dealer price — because dealer pricing is only meaningful to a licensed buyer.
Insecticides and pesticides require a licence to sell under the Insecticides Act, 1968 (PL). Fertilizers require a certificate of registration under the Fertilizer (Control) Order, 1985 (FL). Seeds require a licence under the Seeds Act, 1966 and the Seeds (Control) Order, 1983 (SL). You can hold any combination; each unlocks its own categories.
Purchasing in that category pauses immediately. The check runs at every checkout, not just at signup, so an expired licence stops the next order rather than being noticed later. Upload the renewed licence from your account and buying resumes as soon as it is approved.
No. Each gated category is checked against the matching licence, and an order for goods you are not licensed to buy is refused at checkout. Attempting to buy restricted goods for onward supply to someone without the licence is a serious breach of the Terms of Use.
For gated categories, no — goods are delivered to premises covered by the licence you registered. This is a condition of the Dealer Agreement, and it is what makes the licence check meaningful.
No. Every order on RYSAG is fully prepaid. Sellers dispatch against money that has already been collected and verified, which is what lets a manufacturer ship to a dealer they have never met.
Only when the payment gateway sends RYSAG a signature-verified confirmation that the money arrived. Returning from the payment page does not confirm an order on its own, and no member of RYSAG staff can mark one paid. If your order still shows PAYMENT PENDING for a few seconds after paying, that is the confirmation arriving.
Yes. The total shown includes GST and any charges, and nothing is added afterwards. If a price, a stock position or a scheme changes between the moment you see the summary and the moment you confirm, the order is refused and the new total is shown for you to accept — it is never silently repriced.
A cart containing goods from more than one manufacturer splits into one order per seller, lettered A, B and so on under a single master order number. Each seller invoices, packs and dispatches separately, so they may arrive on different days.
A checkout summary is valid for ten minutes, because prices and stock are live. If you take longer over the delivery details, the app fetches a fresh quote and places the order again automatically. You only see a message if the numbers genuinely changed.
Reserved stock is released and the amount is auto-reversed by the payment provider, usually within 5 to 7 working days. We reconcile the gateway record against our ledger daily. If it has not come back, raise a support case with the bank reference.
The manufacturer dispatches from its own warehouse through a transporter it engages. Transit time depends on the lane and the transporter, so the estimates shown are indicative rather than guaranteed. The transporter, vehicle number and lorry receipt number appear on your order as the shipment moves.
A GST tax invoice in the seller’s name with every consignment; an e-Way Bill where the consignment value crosses the threshold in Rule 138 of the CGST Rules; and the transporter’s lorry receipt. All of them are on your order page, so you can produce them without hunting for paper.
Count the cartons against the lorry receipt and check that the tamper-evident seals are intact. If anything is short, tampered or visibly damaged, write it on the transporter’s copy of the LR before you sign and get the driver to acknowledge it. A clean signed LR makes a later claim much harder to establish.
Yes, if you gave one when registering. Your GSTIN on the invoice is what lets you claim input tax credit, so it is worth adding even though it is optional. The delivery state you choose at checkout decides whether the invoice carries CGST plus SGST or IGST.
Yes, free of charge, at any time before it is dispatched — from the order page. Reserved stock is released at once and, if you had already paid, a full refund to the original payment method starts automatically without you having to ask.
No. Once the tax invoice is issued and the consignment has left the warehouse it cannot be cancelled, because these are licensed, batch-tracked goods whose chain of custody has to be documented. Problems with what arrives are handled as a claim instead.
Raise a support case within 48 hours of delivery with the order number, photographs of the carton seals before opening, photographs of the affected goods and batch markings, and the endorsed lorry receipt. We acknowledge within 48 hours and decide within 7 working days of receiving the complete evidence.
RYSAG initiates the refund immediately on approval; it completes when the payment provider confirms it, typically 5 to 7 working days depending on your bank. Refunds go only to the original payment method, and we will never ask for bank or card details to process one.
Manufacturers and authorised distributors of agricultural inputs, with a GSTIN, PAN, the licences their products require, and registration wherever the law requires it — under section 9(3) of the Insecticides Act, the Fertilizer (Control) Order or the Seeds Act. Every seller is reviewed before listing.
You are. RYSAG never takes title to your goods. You raise the GST tax invoice in your own name to the dealer; RYSAG collects payment as your agent, and its identity appears on the listing and the order so the dealer knows exactly who they are buying from.
Settlements are generated from RYSAG’s ledger on the published cycle: gross order value less commission, GST on that commission, tax collected at source under section 52 of the CGST Act, gateway charges and any approved claims. Each statement itemises every deduction against the orders it relates to.
Yes — your company gets an address at yourcompany.rysag.com, and your listings also appear in the main catalogue.
Signing in uses a one-time code sent to your registered mobile number. There is no password to be guessed, reused or leaked, and losing a device does not hand over an account that keeps working — sessions can be revoked.
Never. RYSAG will not ask for a one-time code, UPI PIN, card number or bank password by phone, WhatsApp or email, and will never ask you to install a screen-sharing app or pay into a personal account. Anyone who does is not us — report it to the Grievance Officer.
From Account then Privacy and data you can see everything we hold, download it as a machine-readable file, and ask for correction, erasure or nomination. We respond within 30 days. Tax invoices and ledger entries survive erasure in anonymised form because GST law requires them to be kept.
Yes — a RYSAG app for dealers and a RYSAG Sellers app for manufacturers, both for Android and iOS. Your account, cart and orders are the same across the web and the apps.
